How do you guys store macaroni and egg noodles for long term?
We don’t eat either very often, and one bag of egg noodles often goes bad before we use it. To the point that I quit buying them and just started making them from scratch, when needed.

But hubby bought several packages since they were out the week before, and I had already ordered some. So now I have way more than we need - I’m on low carb.

Depends on the shape of the pasta/noodle....

Mostly....I use a large enough Mason jar, then vacuum seal....I also throw an 02 absorber into the jar, if I have them easily available.

Otherwise...say, for spaghetti and stronger noodles that won’t crush, I just vacuum seal (in the Seal n Vac bags). I’ve also kept some noodles/macaroni in tins....like a cookie tin, for example.

I also vacuum seal my pasta, although pasta is usually dates a few years out.

Don’t know about egg noodles as mr. mm doesn’t like them and won’t eat them, and I can’t.
