[history]
Former Australian prime minister Paul Keating has warned that his country should not be drawn into a conflict with China over Taiwan and has no obligation to assist if U.S. forces launch an attack over the disputed island.
Keating, who was prime minister from 1991 to 1996, told Australia’s National Press Club that China was not a “contiguous threat” to his country.

Keating added that Australia would have no obligation to assist the U.S. if the country went to war with China over Taiwan. And the US has no obligation to Australia if China decides to invade them.
Not to worry if China wants Taiwan Biden will serve it up on a silver plater for his customary 10%.

If The Australian government doesn’t care for the freedom of its own people why would it fight to defend the freedom of Taiwanese?

When the Chinese galleons appear off their shores they will wish they had back all those semi-auto rifles they destroyed.

What has Taiwan done for itself since 1949? The SORKS could beat the Norks hands down.

Given the way the Aussie government is going, a Chinese take over will not make much diff anyway. Only the dictator in charge will change names.
And bonus, they’ll be much closer to the next Wu Flu breakout.
Oh well, we are not far behind them.

Keating is an old washed-up politician who is about as mentally sharp as Biden. Our current Prime Minister has already sharply attacked him about this comments. This is nothing new for Keating. He is a far left commie who sold out to the China years ago.

If I remember, just a few days ago, the White House took back Biden’s comments that the USA would defend Taiwan. I have no doubt the USA now is so weak, and its military is so depressed, that if China invaded Taiwan today, Biden would say a few strong words and then do nothing.

As I have posted many times, there are more guns, including semi-automatics, now in the hands of Aussies, than before the restrictions. The average gun owner has about doubled the number of guns they own. It just the casual city people who gave up their guns and they would be useless, anyway.

I guess the Australians need to hold their own troops in reserve for use against their own recalcitrant population.
