Ah, the old “silent crisis” of affordable child care from the Clinton/Gore days. This has been brewing for 25 years.
Neighbors watched kids years ago....and they were reasonable. It was people helping people. Then the government turned it into a business. Then it advanced to Day Care centers. Then government became Day Care Centers...aka....pre school. So now....WE pay millions for the babysitter. Ain’t government grand.
