his outrageously poor judgment in bringing a semi-automatic rifle to a protest.
If he hadn't bought the rifle to the protest, he'd have been seriously hurt or killed by three violent slimeballs. As it is, he successfully defended himself against the attacks of three violent slimeballs. His judgment seems sound to anyone who isn't a crazed leftist.
