I am not vaccinated. In a sane society, a personal decision like this would not warrant a column, or even an explanation. But we do not live in a sane society. As a healthy 36-year-old woman, COVID-19 does not pose a statistically meaningful threat to my life. I have a 99.97 percent chance of survival... when there is an element of risk from the vaccines

Just found out a lunchtime that I have lost one of my dearest friends to covid. He was one of the smartest, funniest people I knew, the kind of person who starts talking and everyone else shuts up and listens, a rare occurrence these days.
He was a Trump-supporting Democrat who had worked in the middle of the action on several campaigns.
He was also politically adamant about not getting the vaccine.
Keep the angels laughing up there.
The vaccine was never necessary.
FLCCC has protocols. Dr Peter McCullough has a protocol. Dr David Brownstein has a protocol. Anyone pretending otherwise is a Pharma stooge and a traitor to the Republic.

Sorry for your loss. However, I hope you don’t expect that anecdote to change any minds here. Was your friend overweight or immunocompromised in any way? Did he have significant comorbidities? Hadn’t he ever heard of monoclonal antibodies? There’s so much more a person can do to keep from getting Covid other than taking an experimental “vaccine” that fails to do its fundamental job.
I suppose a 36yo is pretty safe. I hope so, because those in their 60’s that are vaccinated, have dropped their risk down a few decades to that of a 36yo - 40yo unvaccinated - from 90 to 220x the risk of infection down to 4-10x the risk of a 17yo and 9x the risk of hospitalization down to 2x (10-14 per 100K down to 3.2 per 100K).

The argument that the vaccine doesn’t ‘prevent’ disease and so is not a ‘real’ vaccine is a false one based on a misunderstanding of science and the facts on the ground. Consider pertussis or measles vaccines, effectiveness in the 80’s. Should we toss them? Or even my favorite, the vaccine alternative, Regeneron monoclonals, with a 70% or better effective rate against death, but definitely not 100% and definitely not ‘lifetime’ protection.
Of the vaccines that have been developed by India, USA, England, China, Russia, etal, none are 100%. And none ever will be, because people are different on an individual metabolic and behavioral level. When you’re vaccinating the entire world, you’re going to have anomolies at a greater rate than if you’re vaccinating a tiny number equivalent to the current year’s batch of firstgraders getting school vaccinations.

I have no worries, this whole jab hoax has finally become a joke, at this rate of “ discovery”, and amounts of those adversely effected by it, it will die off and become labeled as the hoax of the century ( except to those injured by it).
I’m a hold out on the vax. I’ve never bought into the whole Covid thing. I figured I’d get it and suffer with the flu and move on, which is exactly what happened. Probably Feb of 2020, caught something, it sucked, took a day off, went back to work. Why should I have to be vaccinated, (which I believe is now 3 shots). No one has gotten covid from me. I’m not worried about getting it from anyone else. Why in the world would a 3 times vaccinated person demand that I get the shot too.
My thoughts, buyers remorse. I got it, YOU HAVE TO AS WELL. Well I refuse. Now what are you going to do.

At my age (88 next week), there is no way I’m sticking those spiked proteins into my body...
