In his prosecution of Kyle Rittenhouse, Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger drew so many well-earned rebukes from the judge that some speculated he was intentionally going for a mistrial.
Nope. He was fighting like a banshee. He just has a really bad case.
Of course, it was his own decision to charge the then-17-year-old Rittenhouse with murder for shooting three psychopathic criminals who were attacking him at the BLM/antifa riots in Kenosha last year. (That, by the way, is a more accurate summary of the evidence than anything Binger said.)
In his closing argument, Binger decided to ignore his loser case and argue an entirely different case, for which no evidence had been adduced. Binger posited that Rittenhouse was an “active shooter” — like at Sandy Hook Elementary or Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
Forget that Rittenhouse was not at a grade school, but in the middle of a riot that did $50 million in damage to the town of Kenosha. Forget that rioters were beating up random people they encountered, including a 71-year-old man protecting a mattress store from being looted, who had his jaw and nose broken by a water bottle filled with concrete — hurled by “unarmed” protesters.
Name one “active shooter” in history who strolled about with a gun for hours, not shooting anyone — until he was chased, cornered and assaulted. Rittenhouse had a gun not because he was violent, but because the “protesters” were, as the evidence abundantly demonstrated.
But according to Binger, the collection of mental patients, domestic violence offenders and pedophiles attacking Rittenhouse were “heroes,” just trying to stop the “active shooter”!

The dude is a total a$$hole, but I suspect the decision to prosecute was made by someone far above Bingers pay grade

This no longer is a trial of fairness but a trial run by the mob rules. If we lose this case than America is no longer a nation of justice fairness and the rule of law but the laws of the mob rule. This is extremely frightening for we are seeing the end of this nation if the mob prevail. The effing criminals and mobs are running this country now if we stand up they will throw us in the gallows because courage no longer exist in this nation. Satan and insanity rules. If they take down Rittenhouse you can bet your life that Bannon is the next target they will bring down. Whatever it takes right?
GoFundMe refused to allow Rittenhouse’s friends to raise money for his defense. People who did contribute were hunted down, doxxed and fired.
I hope they have a legal case here.

I listened to the bond violation hearing. Binger wanted to know the names of all who donated to the fund to make sure that none of them would end up on the jury.
Just had a weird thought... it happens.
Gofundme probably protected a lot of people from abuse by not allowing the donations.

Someone on another thread a couple of days ago had that image and one of Binger and it had the caption "Who wore it better?"
One theme that I’ve seen over and over is that prosecutors and DAs are really affected by confirmation bias. Once they start down a particular road they rarely re-evaluate the correctness of that path. Seems to be built into the system.

Keep your powder dry, your firearm skills sharpened, and
obey the local/state firearm law knowledge up to date and you might survive. The last is important because the laws are changing so much that books, concerning state laws are updated yearly, if not sooner. Get a CCL and practice safety, safety and safe practices at least weekly! (Never hold a firearm with your finger on the trigger) Kenosha death #1!
We will survive! But, this could get ugly and we want to be on the pretty side of the bargain.
