A federal judge ruled against Michigan's request to remand its lawsuit against the Line 5 pipeline back to a state court, delivering a win for Canadian operator Enbridge Energy.

I thought it was Biden that was “considering” shutting down another important pipeline.

State Republican Congressmen Tim Walberg, MI-07; Bob Latta, OH-05; Jack Bergman, MI-01, and 10 other House members argued in a separate letter that Line 5 is "essential to the lifeblood of the Midwest.""Should this pipeline be shut down, tens of thousands of jobs would be lost across Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and the region; billions of dollars in economy activity would be in jeopardy; and the environment would be at greater risk due to additional trucks operating on roadways and railroads carrying hazardous materials where that is even possible," the letter reads. "Additionally, as we enter the winter months and temperatures drop across the Midwest, the termination of Line 5 will undoubtedly further exacerbate shortages and price increases in home heating fuels like natural gas and propane at a time when Americans are already facing rapidly rising energy prices, steep home heating costs, global supply shortages, and skyrocketing gas prices."
The whole story (at link above) is very informative and well worth the read. I can't believe how much Democrats hate America and live to make life miserable for ordinary people of every race.

And that’s precisely the reason the dems want to shut it down. Republicans still deluded by the normalcy bias need to wake up fast. Trying to explain to insane leftists how terrible their latest horrible decision would be for Americans and America is like pleading with a serial killer to spare your life. A total waste of time. In both cases, the best response is to eliminate the threat, not try to bargain with it.
I just wonder how long the citizens will wait..to know we are at war with foreign and domestic enemies , then what?

Moleface was trying to shutdown this pipeline over 10 years ago back when she was governor of MI, the left has been choosing this particular pipeline forever it seems.
Must be a favorite target of the left, I’ve even forgotten the smaller lawsuits over the years...perhaps a good reason on why Brainstem didn’t shut this one down also, too many legal precedents to deal with at the moment. (Of course that hasn’t stopped these commies before.)
