Ret. Navy SEAL Jonathan Gilliam on Kyle Rittenhouse: ‘Everything He Did Was Textbook Perfect’
Breitbart ^ | November 24,2021 | Robert Kraychik

Posted on 11/24/2021 12:47:54 PM PST by Hojczyk

Gilliam stated, “When he had his weapon and he was confronted by these imminent threats of loss of life or serious bodily injury, he engaged in a proper manner to eliminate the threat. You didn’t see him out there hammering people down, mowing people down. It’s when the threat got too close and it posed an imminent threat … he took action.”

Rittenhouse’s control of his firearm was “amazing,” Gilliam emphasized. “[He] held his weapon properly … kept his weapon in his hands when he was getting beat [and] when he was running. He wasn’t sweeping people. He didn’t drop his gun, He held onto it and maintained positive control the whole time with his finger off the trigger.”

Leftist riots would have been prevented had thousands of Americans followed Rittenhouse’s example to defend the peace, Gilliam held.

“He was going to help out a neighborhood that he knew was going to be targeted by violent thugs that burned places down and destroyed businesses and lives,” he observed. “He went there to support those people. If 10,000 people had gone there and done that, none of that stuff would have happened.”

He added, “I commend him even more because he had the guts to go there at 17 years old, and go there and try to help people, take care and save their community. He didn’t do anything wrong.”

Videos of Rittenhouse shooting his attackers revealed “great weapon-handling skills,” Gilliam concluded. Rittenhouse “did not engage targets that were not presenting an imminent threat of loss of life or serious bodily injury

Two righteous verdicts in a week and a half ...
the juries are neighbors picked from a pool ...

America is fed up with being idle and taken for a ride ....
a new renaissance has emerged ...

Welcome home, President Trump.

Watching the defense walk through the incident second by second, what Kyle did under terrific pressure was perfect.

Who has the power in the USA these days, 24 Jurors...God bless all of them!!! As for low life, Democrat, Traitors, Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer...they all are throwaway garbage material. I only hope I see Biden and others sued for every penny they have, human, scum & vermin, that they are!!!

It was one of the most excellent displays of fire discipline you will ever see. If I had to sit in an LP overnight in a foxhole this is the guy I want with me.

He used the forward assist, too. First time I’ve ever heard of anyone actually doing that.

Yes, I’d be curious to know what kind of firearm training he’s had.

*Welcome home, President Trump.*

I like that. Normally an ex president waits a year before commenting. Unwritten rule-broken with BJ. 43’ honored it to a fault even when they couldn’t avoid blaming him for problems real and imagined. Today there’s just too much going on for Trump to remain silent.

I was convinced he was military train when I first saw the video and did not know his age. That video should be use in training.

I don’t think he should go to college unless it’s Hillsdale. I thought I heard he wants to be a nurse. He should go into the military. I know they are woke at this point, but he could pursue his career there, and I think he would be pretty safe. Whatever he decides to do, I hope he will be safe. He’s a nice young guy.

That kid showed some serious situational awareness under extreme pressure. Amazing American young man.

I have no doubt there are Special Ops guys out there who envy Rittenhouse's amazingly calm demeanor and tactical skills under pressure. It almost seemed scripted, dare I say.

In a SANE America, the U.S. Navy SEALs would be actively seeking Kyle's enlistment.

Chris Kyle would be proud and it's only fitting they share a same name.

I’m certainly not an expert on combat, but to my untrained eye, his actions that night were very impressive.

“Rittenhouse “did not engage targets that were not presenting an imminent threat of loss of life or serious bodily injury”

Which is why he only ‘liquidated’ some horrific white trash, rather than otherwise decent people caught up in something that never should have been allowed to take place.

I disagree with you that the names you mention are “throwaway garbage material”. When something needs to be thrown away, it does nothing else before, or even after, you throw it away. The people you named are causing trouble far beyond that - they are rabid wolverine level, not throwaway garbage level, problems, and they have the capacity to do a lot more damage than they have already done.

He did have amazing control through the whole of the events.

He wants to be a nurse. Probably pick a Veteran's Hospital to work at...he's that kind of a young man.

Including recognizining the action not closed and smacking the forward assist. How many would have thought that quickly?

I heard that he and his bud went to a firing range to practice. Other than that....nothing.
