FReepers are skeptical about government, but also skeptical about society (else we would oppose the very idea of government).Science itself is skepticism. For example, reported experimental results have to be repeated in order to be accepted.
Democrats aren’t skeptical of much of anything: they are cynical about society and, concomitantly, naive about government. No wonder they aren’t scientific, but rather scientistic.
