Watched jury selection on Rekeita Law. At this rate....will take days.

Judge has an ASMR voice and will probably put the court to sleep.

Dig “Daunte” up and shoot him in the face a few dozen more times - then sue the POS family who raised him.

Then we’ll have justice.

New rules will be, you are supposed to let them go when they run. Once this new directive is nation wide. there will be no regard for any law officer, and chaos will abound

> Potter, 49, mistakenly discharged her handgun instead of her stun gun at Wright <

I don’t know how Minnesota defines it, but that sounds like negligent homicide. My sympathy for her has just gone to zero.

Wear your waders because the tears are going to flow.

But seriously:

“Wright had an open warrant for his arrest related to an aggravated armed robbery, for failure to appear in court, and for charges that he fled from officers and possessed a gun without a permit during an encounter with Minneapolis police in June.”

She screwed up, but his actions brought it on himself. He was a threat to society, and I find it hard to give a f*ck about his death. She’s been fired. Leave it at that.

Probably inspired by Kyle Rittenhouse.

Tasers are carried direct opposite of handgun so it’s hard for me to believe she, a veteran officer, wouldn’t know the difference. And surely they have a safety of some sort on the taser that would have alerted her that it’s absense meant she was holding her handgun. But having considered this she did seem genuinely surprised that she had fired her handgun and not the taser as she intended. Tragic accident, no premeditation. Moral to story? Don’t put yourself in a position where a nervous cop feels threatened enough to pull a weapon.

“a white former officer...” Who cares what her nationality is. I don’t. I remember when a BART cop in San Francisco in 1990 accidentally grabbed a gun rather than a taser and killed a young person. Sure, the media broadcast that for months. Moral of the story: just be ethical and don’t force police to subdue you.

If Daunte wasn’t a lowlife thug he’d still be alive. When one chooses his life style one runs a huge risk.

Not having watched this trial, I'm not sure how this one is going. From the outset, it struck me as a situation where the police officer made a big mistake. I sort of expected a new officer to be involved. To find out she had been on the force for more than 25 years, was training new officers, and had never shot her service weapon or her taser in all that time struck me a very odd.

She is the kind of officer that becomes a community outreach social worker.
