Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor rejected the idea that a fetus that has the ability to move and react to pain is a human life that should be protected from abortion.
"Virtually every state defines a brain death as death," Sotomayor, appointed by former President Barack Obama, said during oral arguments in a potential landmark abortion rights case Wednesday, as the state of Mississippi defended an abortion restriction law that directly challenges Roe v. Wade.
"Yet, the literature is filled with episodes of people who are completely and utterly brain dead responding to stimuli," Sotomayor continued. "There's about 40 percent of dead people who, if you touch their feet, the foot will recoil. There are spontaneous acts by dead brain people. So I don't think that a response to -- by a fetus necessarily proves that there's a sensation of pain or that there's consciousness."
Sotomayor also said that she believes the idea that a fetus is a human life is a "religious view."

Sotomayor’s view is the RELIGIOUS view. The religion is Satanism.
I would ask her if the detection of brainwaves in unborn babies would be a reasonable standard to outlaw abortions of such babies.
There is plenty of scientific evidence not only of brainwaves but coordinated brain activity in unborn babies at 24 weeks. This does not mean that babies younger than that are “brain dead” but Sotomayor is just throwing this out there anyway. She couldn’t care any less if she knew for a fact to an absolute certainty that babies feel pain even more than more developed humans.
In reality, abortion-pushers just want what they want. Justification is just what they do AFTER they’ve already decided to do what they want no matter what.

Presence of consciousness has never been the subject for the debate on legal trigger. Red herring argument to deflect and distract the direction of the debate.
Unique DNA structures demonstrate the presence of a one-time, unique life entity. The second viability trigger is the presence of that DNA structure as a STAND-ALONE kinetic entity.
A STATIC DNA structure, such as one on a microscope slide, does not demonstrate the presence of life. Only a stand-alone kinetic (growing, changing) DNA structure indicates the presence of life force.

I admire your choice in men. Good people are fewer these days. It’s fair to respond in kind. Radiation kills cancer and it’s bad too. Women enjoy being lied to. A child would be better off with a big Mexican family(poor) than they would being aborted.
Brain wave activity of a fetus can be detected within a few weeks. And the difference between a fetal mass of matter and a brainwave dead human is that preborn humans grow into fully mature humans who can do stuff like cure cancer.
