Most Utah voters say Trump should not run again in 2024: poll

A majority of voters in Utah believe that former President Trump should not run again, according to a new poll released on Wednesday.

A poll conducted by OH Predictive Insights indicated that 54 percent of registered voters in Utah believe that Trump should not run again in 2024 compared to 35 percent of those who believe he should.

While the research firm indicated that the numbers differed along partisan lines, the percentage of Republican voters who said they would like Trump to run again was 53 percent, and OH Predictive Insights said was mostly driven by Republicans in the 18-year-old to 54-year-old age demographic.

At this point, nobody wins a Republican primary without his endorsement... or rather, if he's endorsed another candidate. In effect, he's the Godfather.

Trump won Utah with 58.1% of the vote and a margin of 20.5% in 2020. His poll numbers have increased since then and this story is clearly FAKE NEWS.

What people tell pollsters and what they actually do are often two different things. If polls were correct, Trump should have quit the 2016 race 10 minutes after he came down the escalator in Trump Tower.

Two 1/2 years from today, as the 2024 election is in process, the United States will be a very different place. By then we may have seen Ukraine fall to the Russia and China take over Taiwan with Biden standing by impotently. Economically we may be in the middle of hyperinflation or a deep depression. There may not even be a 2024 election. By then we may even be living under a dictatorship and a newly written Constitution if the far left has its way.

The 2024 election is an eon away given the increasing rate of change in this country and around the world. It is premature to say today if Trump should run or even to know if at his age he will be able.
