There is no logic to his statement. If the vaccinated are in danger of getting infected from the unvaccinated - as his advice implies - then they are also in danger from the vaccinated. After all, how would you know if your vaccinated friends and relatives had recently been exposed? If they're vulnerable, then they are just as much of a risk as the unvaccinated.
It comes down to either your vaccine protects you or it doesn't. Apparently it doesn't. If it doesn't, then what good is it, why take the risk of side effects for no gain.
