The inspiration of the repost was that I had made a comment, in another thread about security measures being put in place to inhibit smash-and-grab attacks. Eleutheria5 suggested the Brooklyn solution of bullet-proof glass, to which I linked this and another article.

Forcing the war on cash. They want to close all the convenience stores. Chicago’s Lori Lightfoot is doing the same thing. She claims that the convenience stores are a source of all the neighborhood crime. So instead of stopping the criminals you take away their food and liquor thinking that will stop them?
