Lot of liability on the part of the corporations for anyone injured by this policy.

I would be surprised if the union puts up with this.

This seems like a deceptive article. As U.S. government suppliers, Ford and Stellantis would have been subject to the stupid Biden mandate for Federal contractors.

The company communications cites here date back to November 19th — which was BEFORE the mandate for Federal contractors was stayed in court. This article is posted TODAY. The December 4th deadline referenced in the company notices has passed. If the author really wants to inform his readers instead of publishing a political diatribe, he’d tell is where the company policy stands NOW.

They are Union.

I’m not fond of them but right now they provide an answer.

Drop your tools, punch out, go home and make signs.

Every last member.

Make the plants ghost towns.

It will make for a memorable Christmas with their family.

Here is the customer contact numbers where you can let Ford and Chevrolet know how you feel about their abuse of their workforce:

Ford United States
(800) 392-3673

Chevrolet
1-800-222-1020

I told both companies that I would rather buy a vehicle manufactured entirely outside the United States than support car manufacture making cars within the United States that abuses its workers. I also said that if I couldn't purchase any new vehicles that did not abuse their workforce that I will just keep buying used cars and use small independent shops and aftermarket parts. I even called for the local dealers and said that this stuff is getting out of hand and they're gonna lose business big time.

The company cannot ask the questions it’s asking of people who are seeking Religious Accommodation. Illegal. Been tried and ruled on.

Question 5 is OK.
Question 4, and others like it, is not.

The sole legal standard is “sincerely held belief,” and there’s zero requirement that they be any linkage to any identified religious organization whatsoever.
