In 2016 there were 17 different parties on the ballot somewhere. Plus another 20 or so independents. I think we need to narrow the list down somewhat.
Not really. In New Hampshire the public can observe the entire election process, including the opening of absentee ballots, the polling place, and the counting of ballots at the end of the election day. That should be the rule everywhere.
It should be illegal for election operations to be conducted anywhere but in public where observers can easily see what is going on.
