Six men at a Cheesecake Factory and four people at an Applebee's in a mall in Queens were arrested Tuesday evening during a "sit-in" to protest against indoor dining coronavirus vaccine mandates in New York City, according to multiple reports.
A group of protesters entered the Cheesecake Factory and refused to show proof of vaccination when a restaurant employee asked them to do so, as mandated by the city, reported the local outlet The Queen's Eagle.
The men breezed past the host stand and seated themselves in violation of the mandate. They were asked to leave, and when they refused, the restaurant called the police.
The New York Police Department (NYPD) responded to the scene, and when police told the protesters to leave they refused, according to the Eagle. NYPD then arrested six of about 30 people who were in the group and charged them with criminal trespassing.
One of the anti-vaccine protestors compared the NYPD to "Nazis," and said, "we're going to sue every last one of these motherf---ers," while also comparing the vaccine mandate to historic "segregation."

God bless them. Discrimination based on perceived health status needs to get nuked hard. Use the left’s own tactics against them. Make them play by the rules they have imposed on everyone else.
i hope they got the name and badge of every leo who was just “following orders.”

So how many of us would be happy if a group of people came into a restaurant where we were lined up waiting to be seated w/ our families & this large group jumped the line and sat themselves at tables? I don’t really care about their opinions on masks, but I do care they think they are entitled to make their protest by screwing up my meal. I think private businesses have the right to request people follow their rules - assuming rules are legal - and not have protesters disrupting customers.
I’m just really done with selfish people. Everyday someone thinks they have the right to infringe on my rights and then get snotty if I request them to back off. People have become very self-centered and selfish. Or maybe we’ve always been this way & I’m just noticing now because I’m retired and out and about more w/ the general public.
The mistake was not wearing BLM shirts. That would confuse the hell out of the cops and they would have to radio for instructions.
NYC police officers are Nazis? I guess my grandparents fled Poland because they wanted cheesecake? What a bunch of spoiled wankers.
