Six years ago, Sharyl Attkisson gave an excellent TED talk entitled “Astroturf and manipulation of media messages.”
It explains precisely what is happening now including:
why my reputation on Wikipedia went from hero to zero over a few days.
how we are all being manipulated.
But most of all, at the very end, it explains the subtle clues that we are being manipulated. A key lesson: Beware of those who question people who question authority. In short, beware of those (such as Wikipedia, “fact checkers,” and doctors) who question people like myself, Robert Malone, Bret Weinstein, and others who question authority.
Watch it now. You’ll be amazed how relevant it is today, 6 years later.
I came of age in the late 70’s.
Watergate.
The fall of Saigon.
Three Mile Island.
I learned at just the right and ripe formative time that GOVERNMENT LIES.
You were a little quicker than me. I changed from being a Democrat to a Republican in the very early 80’s. Now I have become a Conservative. My opinion of the Republican party has changed and that includes both Bush’s.
We had to go to the big Library near downtown Boston in order to listen to them. There was a lot of evidence that tore apart the conclusions of the ‘Warren Commission.’ That was my first awakening.
Good stuff. Thanks!
I’ve seen that talk.
I have enormous respect for Sharyl.

Love Sharyl! To think this was all before Totalitarian Covid . . ..
Sounds like the path many of us traveled.
Would you be free to share some of the evidence that made you question the official narrative?
The best book on the JFK assassination imho:

Roger Stone is fearless and nails LBJ.
Don't question authority, y'know, because those who question authority are insurrectionists who undermine our democracy. /s

Thanks for the heads up, GOPJ.
This is indeed a fabulous YouTube with Sharyl Atkinson.
We need a national law similar to the Freedom of Information Act and “Open Records Request” law we have in Georgia to promote transparency in the media.
I’m not sure the mechanism, but the most visited “facts” site on the internet should be required to post rebuttal information from sources where controversy exists.
