Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) does not have the guts to stand up to special interests after Manchin announced he would not vote for President Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better Act.
Sanders said, “He will have a lot of explaining to do to the people of with West Virginia to tell him he doesn’t have the guts to take on the drug companies to lower the cost of prescription drugs, why he is not prepared to expand home health care. West Virginia is one of the poorest states in this country. Elderly people and disabled people who would like to stay at home are forced into nursing homes. He has to tell the people of West Virginia why he doesn’t want to expand Medicare to cover dental, hearing, and eyeglasses.”

Maybe if bernie would offer Manchin one of his houses and his wife’s college fund he would change his mind

Vernie is just an old windbag. He’ s very unreasonable, too. He thinks EVERYONE should embrace his philosophy of socialism.
Whats more is that he is blind ; blind to the

I'm sure the people of West Virginia like being told what to do by a tired old communist from Vermont. If Bernie and the other commies want to pass Medicare expansion, home health care and lower the cost of prescription drugs - hold a separate vote on each rather than burying it in a spending bill that is full of graft and delivers very little benefit for the taxpayer.
Joe Manchin’s been standing up to the full force of the corrupt press, thuggy criminal elements in the democrat party and the newest powerful full blown commies.
And still Manchin stands.
Bernie’s starting to show his true colors and they’re not pretty.

That is hilarious coming from Comrad Sanders who is supported by nothing but special interests.
Look on Youtube for the video of the Soviet grocery store in 1987, and realized this SOB honeymooned in that hole a few years before that video was shot. That monster wants to force Americans to live in his little honeymoon paradise. I have some thoughts on what I’m willing to do before I’m forced to live like that.
Bernie wants us to vote for his special interest, not the other guy’s special interest.
So what is keeping Bernie Sanders from offering each of these pieces as an independent bill, in regular order? Such good ideas should be popular with every single legislator, right?
