Saw what appeared to be a competent woman on Sunday TV interview comment on why cities are demanding that FOOD WASTE get separated in household garbage.
She straight faced stated:
“It takes 400 YEARS for a head of lettuce to decompose in a landfill” !!!!!!!!!
It takes about 3 weeks IN my refrigerator.
She is convinced it takes 400 YEARS in the landfill.....
