This has a very suspect feel to it. All of these Democrats supposedly testing positive and then claiming the vax saved them and using almost identical phrasing to make that baseless claim.

But the info you were looking for is in the supplementary material there is a link in the main study. But here it is since you have to scroll a lot to find it:

Indeed if you look at the break down in the supplementary material there were 2 deaths in the vaccine group and 4 deaths in the placebo. I didn't look deeply enough to confirm it was further winnowed down to 1 and 2.

I'll need to look at it later. When I tried to scan through it now, I was a bit confused. It does look like that its reporting on the study that I heard described earlier (roughly 20k in both groups), but the deaths seemed a lot lower: 2 for the vaccinated group, and 4 for the placebo group (vs. 20 and 14, respectively). Also, the Supplementary table just seemed to report on the results after Dose 1, and not the data after Dose 2. I might have missed this, or perhaps there is a later report (that includes that data after Dose 2) that is a closer match to what I had remembered. Also, I didn't see the cause of deaths broken out - which I thought I had remembered seeing in an earlier table.

Dems have found a new way to play #MeToo. Used to be the media would only report Republicans who tested positive and usually with a sneer that said “serves them right, those anti-science bigots!” but now the jig is up on these vaccines so it’s “ok” for Dems to get it and then play for sympathy.

A "vaccine" apparently now means you can still get the illness you are "vaccinated" against, but you have milder symptoms.

They literally changed the definition of what a vaccine is in order to make what you said the case.
