Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, a member of the progressive “squad,” recently accused those who disagree with student debt cancellation of "policy violence." That is, to disagree with the left now is “violence.” This kind of linguistic legislation by the left is now common. Words mean whatever they want them to mean in order to achieve their far-left goals.
Pressley’s statement is also an implied threat. Since violence is justified in response to violence, Pressley is letting American’s know what is coming if they do not get their way.
The venomous hatred spewed by the Woke mob in the name of tolerance and inclusivity is indefensible. That is why they do not defend it. Instead, they generally try to bully people into submitting to their demands.

Those who get student loans cancelled will then buy a Tesla or pickup truck for $50K. Of course, that loan won’t be violent. They will call it an investment.
It’s been a long slow slide towards tyranny. The Founders knew it would come to this . That is why they put in Article V. It’s amazing how fear and uncertainty has kept it from ever being used. Not even an impending Civil War was enough!
An Article V convention will go the same way as Jan 6 Rally.
The left uses buzz words and bumper sticker proclamations as a manner of communication. Exclusively. Nauseatingly so. Cuz they are soooo hip.
Thanks for demonstrating the fear I was writing about! Even the Jan. 6th stolen election protest has had an up side: The DC Gulag is making a lot more people aware of the perilous situation we find ourselves in. Not good for those patriot political prisoners being tormented in jail but good for the country at large to see just how evil the RAT party really is.
The really amazing part is the USA is the only country whose gummint survived a civil war where hundreds of thousands of it's citizens were killed, only only to be destroyed by a man swimming as a woman.
We have not yet been totally destroyed, but we are so far down the path of self destruction, I'm not sure we can recover.

I like his point at the bugging about the implied threat. It is a threat. If they can claim and believe a normal violence-free thing is violence, then of course violence is justified to overcome it.
The outcome of an Article V convention will be determined by those who are chosen by the state legislatures to represent the states. Will they be virtuous people who understand history, philosophy, western civilization, and human nature? Will they be individuals with high morals and faith in God? Will they be visionaries who care about the future of their communities? Or will the convention be comprised of corrupt political insiders, retired politicians (Illinois sends Barack Obama for example), academic “experts”, and people chosen specifically to add diversity? My state legislature is not comprised of men and women with the intellectual caliber of Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, James Madison, John Adams or George Mason and I cannot see the legislature identifying and appointing great men and women who believe in limited government and individual liberty.
Will Kentucky send Rand Paul or someone Mitch McConnell and the good old boys choose in a back room? There is no way California will send a Victor Davis Hanson. More likely someone like Gavin Newsome, Willie Brown, Kamala Harris, or a radical university president. Bill DeBlasio would love to represent New York as would AOC.
The people at an Article V convention will at best be representative of the people we currently send to Congress and our state legislatures. The left will use every tactic in its playbook to control the majority of people chosen to attend, the rules of the convention, and the leadership of the convention. If they can’t dominate the convention they will do everything possible to disrupt the proceedings and prevent it from doing anything to reign in the power of big government.
The problem with governance in the US today is not the Constitution. It is the people we elect to represent us who choose not to follow the Constitution. Any piece of paper describing the contract between the government and the governed is only as good as the people of the nation and their elected representatives. How many voters today have read the current Constitution, from beginning to end, even once in their lives?
Therein is the problem. At least a third of the people today do not really care who governs them and how they are governed. At least a third of the people want more government and another third want less. A similar situation existed in 1776 where 1/3 wanted freedom, 1/3 were loyal to the king, and 1/3 were indifferent. Conservative are not a majority in the US today and neither are the leftists. Whichever side dominates an Article V convention will replace or dramatically change the current Constitution. Do you trust the legislatures of the 50 states to pick delegates wisely? In 1860-61 a number of unhappy states did not and chose secession over an Article V convention to resolve issues of governance.
The Federal Government took over the student loan business. And it sta ds as the guarantor of student loans in the event of default.
As the Squad members press, again and again for “forgiveness” of (read “default”) on student loans, none has any proposed changes to the student loan program as currently structured.
I hear the words, “scare”, “startle”, and others with similar meanings, will soon be banned because they can also be thought of as saying “spooked” and everyone knows that “Spook” doesn’t stand for “spy” anymore...
How about a few other words......like Ameritrash

Right...then by THAT definition ... I experienced this ‘violence’ for 15 years at the hands of my VERY liberal supervisor and co workers while working at the university!
Everyone remembers the progressive squad from school they were the ones that always sat at the back of the class and thought F’s meant Fine.
Our big difference is that I have no trust of the system. That’s not enough to put our nation’s future at full-risk. Too much can go far too wrong.
Now, what good does it do to change something we don’t follow in the first place?
