More proof that most people are just sheep and will do whatever they are told. Of course, we have known this fact for some time now.
A large portion of the population perhaps. Disheartening to see so many, so easily swayed to the sound of the pied fauxnocchio and his puppets screed. Plenty of holdouts that think for themselves. Enough holdouts? Probably not.
Sadly, the folks that NEED to see this won’t see it and I’d say most would dismiss it as psycho babble rantings from a right wing extremist vax denier. Without ever reading it. Irrational fear. It’s what they do.
There is a term for what results from Mass Formation Psychosis, it’s called a cult.

I certainly agree that a large mass of the population is firmly in thrall with COVID fear. I don’t consider it to be a psychosis, though. It’s simply mass misinformation.
A very large percentage of the population gets its information from biased media and social platforms. These people are not only misinformed, they know there is differing information available, but they simply don’t care to assess it. They convince themselves that it is you that are misinformed.
This can be blamed on ‘psychosis’, but I believe it is based on intentional misinformation. It is the purveyors of the Fake News who are psychotic. They are the ones who lie, know that others know they are lying, and live if fear that they will be exposed. Ask the Cuomo brothers how that feels.
