But, they rely on computer data to the point that they are destroying any since of reality.
Computer data? Garbage in, Garbage out.
But their bean counters have probably doubled down after the CEO’s statement.

Exactly. I've been waiting for the extra-governmental data to start appearing from businesses whose viability depends on having accurate demographic data--unlike government agencies who can twist the data to serve the narrative and pay no penalty for it. This is only the first taste.
