It isn’t on a different surface, like the French Open or Wimbledon; it doesn’t have a relatively raucous crowd like the U.S Open. The Australian Open is lame. It’s a fake major. Having visited...in Melbourne, the Australian Open is the ‘Holy Grail’ (locals feel this way). If I were the PM, I’d start looking for some way to settle this real quick.
