Travelers to Hawaii will now have to show proof of having received the coronavirus booster shot in order to be considered fully vaccinated.
Under the state’s current “Safe Travels” program, visitors to the state must quarantine for five days or test negative for the coronavirus within one day of travel if they are not fully vaccinated, which previously meant two doses of the Pfizer/Moderna vaccines or one dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The new guidelines will now include booster shots in order for people to skip quarantine.

So three injections and still people are getting the ‘rona? This has all been maddening but they just keep doubling down.
Yep. Why deal with that if you can just go to FL and not deal with anyone.
We’re supposed to go to a wedding in November. Hopefully all this nonsense will be done away with by then.
Hawaii is also very anti-gun. Apparently if you want to bring a handgun on your visit, you have to register it with the state.
Have a few friends living in Hawaii, one is a community nurse.
She said despite all their restrictions, Covid cases exploding..most of the patients she’s seen, fully vaccinated.
But how can that be!!? Joe said it’s a pandemic of the unvaxx.
This only applies to Americans and not illegals.
Anyhow, this is totally illeagal. It is a violation of the Interstate Commerce Clause and a violation of the 9th and possibly the 10th Amendment?
Anyhow, the decision is based on pseudo science. They renamed the common cold Omicron that does not impact Hawaii since it is so warm.
Time for more lawsuits.
I just sent this to some younger relatives, who might be ready for some warm weather and beaches next month.
None of them have the 3rd shot, nor will they ever.
One couple went to the Florida Keys in December and had a great time and no Tsunamis.
I knew 3 different people who relocated to Hawaii. Within about 10 years all moved back to the U.S. mainland.
Dumb, dumb, dumb.
Not going to Hawaii.
I’m planning trips to Hawaii, the UK, and Canada this year. I expect I’ll need booster shots for all of those trips. But how many boosters? Do I need a booster shot 10 weeks before every flight? I’m going to be “behind” very shortly. I only have a single J&J from March 2021 so far.

Been here 16 years but I admit buying a small place in Arizona as a sanctuary or bolt hole if the need arises.
Once I left Oahu/Honolulu for the Big Isalnd, it was great, but the BS is getting to me. Wife is fine, but worries about me going postal if the liberals try a gun grab.
The climate cannot be surpassed, that keeps me here for now.
