Expert at Sheba Medical Center says jab raises COVID antibody levels, but there are ‘still a lot of infections’ among those who received it

Nearly a month after Sheba Medical Center launched a landmark study to test the efficacy of a fourth COVID shot, the hospital said Monday that this fourth booster was only partially effective in protecting against the Omicron strain.
“The vaccine, which was very effective against the previous strains, is less effective against the Omicron strain,” Prof. Gili Regev-Yochay, a lead researcher in the experiment said.
“We see an increase in antibodies, higher than after the third dose,” Regev-Yochay said. “However, we see many infected with Omicron who received the fourth dose. Granted, a bit less than in the control group, but still a lot of infections,” she added.
“The bottom line is that the vaccine is excellent against the Alpha and Delta [variants], for Omicron it’s not good

There were just far too many “we don’t know” about these shots from the get go and that was sufficient for me to take a wait and see position.....now after two years they still aren’t working and worse causing serious side affects.

No sh!t, Sherlock. The old vaccine is obsolete, so it’s an exercise in futility trying to use it against a new variant this far removed from the one it was designed to combat. Like taking an old pugilist out of the retirement home, and putting him back in the ring with a hot young fighter. Follow the common sense.
The constant coercion has a very Mark of the Beast feel to it.

Jeez! Willya cut it out with all the facts and figures?! I can't keep all of these hard data and exact numbers in my head!
They could at least say something like, "very effective, plus-or-minus 5%," or "a bit less, plus-or-minus a smidgen."

I think it just shows how gullible people are and being easily misled.....critical thinking is almost gone regarding personal choices and being independent thinkers. People just don’t weight things anymore. They just go along with what ever the trend is.
No one is stopping Omicron. Even though the drug companies will try to cash in with a new ‘formula’, the wave will already be gone by then.
