Lech Walesa, the former Polish president and Solidarity trade union leader who played a leading role in the fall of Communism, has the coronavirus, he said on Friday.
Originally a shipyard electrician in the northern port city of Gdansk, Walesa became a symbol of the historic changes that ended the Cold War, leading the Solidarity trade union movement which brought about the switch to a free-market economy in 1989.

News flash. We’re all going to get’rona.
Hopefully, he has Omicron, like I do. The blocked sinuses with NO OTHER SYMPTOM has been dreadful. lol
+100. Actually I thought he had passed away several years ago hoping he recovers soon.
I get him confused with those souls that died on the suspicious plane crash decade or two ago.
He’ll be over it in a few days and have bullet proof immunity.
I think I have it, too. But have not tested, and likely will not. Just some bad sinus stuff this week, and then yesterday, seem to have lost sense of taste and smell, but otherwise am feeling better.
Did you get tested? Am I a horrible person if I have worked all week? Seems that everyone in the office either has recently had it, or someone in their household has. So I don’t think I have endangered anyone, and didn’t think I even had it until late yesterday. I figured it was just a sinus infection brought on by having to wear a mask last weekend, for the first time in about 8 months.
I have it to. Trying to get rid of this cough for a week or 2. Hopefully it will fade away soon.
May G-d grant the hero, Lech Walesa, a quick and complete recovery from whatever ails him, and grant him a long and happy life.
Afebrile, no cough, no loss of taste or smell, no sore throat or shortness of breath. But POSITIVE and out of work until Monday at my nursing home!
Yes, I could have worked if I had not had the test.
If a dry cough, please direct steam toward your nose and do neti pot-type nasal flushes.
If the cough is productive, take NAC and it will help the phlegm thin out to get it up.
Strangely, my wife’s dry cough never had phlegm come up, at any time.
What test did they use? And, was it accurate? Is there an accurate test for Covid?
I get flem about 4 or 5 times a day. Most of the time just a tickle in the throat causing a cough.
