Report: Trump may endorse more than one Republican in Missouri Senate Primary

Former President Donald Trump’s endorsement is coveted among Republicans running for U.S. Senate in Missouri. All of the candidates talk about their support of Trump on the campaign trail. At least two have brought on former Trump staffers as paid advisers.

And more than one of them might get the endorsement.

Trump, frustrated that he’s getting conflicting advice from advisers and unsure of which one to believe, is reportedly considering endorsing more than one candidate, according to Politico.

Bad idea if true. Better no endorsement than multiple endorsements.

Agree. He has 3 of his biggest allies working for 3 different candidates; Greitens, Schmitt and Long. I think it's between Greitens and Schmitt. Have no idea who to vote for in primary.

Oh puhleeze not Greitens! He will get out his “gun ads” and give us his relentless “I AM A SEAL” … I AM A LEADER ads - he failed Missouri during his governorship. He needs to sail in to the sunset!

Ignorant. If his support drives the electorate he had best be sure there is no one running against him. This would split the vote.

Better idea would be to stop endorsing Bush League Republicans.

We will never Make America Great Again by re-electing Assistant Democrats.

Trump may be worried about this...

Opinion: Ranked choice voting wrong for Missouri BY NICK SCHROER ON JANUARY 20, 2022

There's a reason Deep State keeps trying to get those so-called voting bills passed. And why it snuck the RCV provisions into that NASA bill.

Don’t forget Vicky Hartzler; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vicky_Hartzler#2020_presidential_election

Experienced and very conservative. Kind of soft spoken, even for a woman. Pro-life, pro 2nd, pro Trump, one of the first to call out the 2020 Steal and also a birther.

I can’t go for Greitens. He was elected once and right off the bat, cheats on his wife which ends up causing all sort of problems, albeit mostly due to a crooked Soros prosecutor. Still, he put himself in that position by cheating in the first place. He went from overachieving do-gooder to adulterer in no time flat. He was a dem until 2015 and resigned as a repub Governor in 2018. Says a lot.

Definitely won’t be the pink polo shirt guy with the wine drunk wife. He’s a fake anyway. Went from pink polo shirt to campaign pics wearing a flannel shirt and posing on a John Deere that’s likely owned by someone else. I doubt he knows how to run a tractor. Probably doesn’t know how to start it, let alone change implements. That would mess with his manicure and his perfect blown dry hair. He’s just a lawyer looking to get in on the insider trading and donations.

Long’s an odd one. College drop out turned auctioneer turned politician. Poker player too. Glad his obese self made it through COVID, so far.

Hartzler’s a teacher turned politician. Not afraid to speak Christian views in congress.

Scmitt of course is a lawyer, for better or worse and it does tend to end up as one extreme or the other.

Politics has mostly been set up by and for lawyers so it’s good to have some on our side.

Closed primary and it seems like Missouri voters all go in for one repub. I guess it’s all done by word of mouth and no one I know talks politics so I don’t know who everyone’s going for. Schmitt would be my guess. He’s got the most money behind him and has made a name for himself in the past two years fighting the mandate(s).

I still haven’t made up my mind either though so I can understand Trump’s dilemma. I noticed he hadn’t backed anyone yet and knew the reason. At least we can’t complain about lack of repub candidates this year.

Gonna have to spend a day seeing what they all introduced or sponsored for bills and how they voted on bills. At least they all have a voting history. Greitens not so much I suppose.

Are you in the Missouri group here on FR? If not, go here, https://freerepublic.com/perl/profiles?location=73 and click “Set My Location” at the top of the page. You’ll get announcements from other Missourians that way. You might also have to click where it says; “To be notified of new messages in this locale, click here”. I don’t remember having done that and I get messages but it’s been a while since I went through the process. I plan on posting there once I research the candidates.

Hopefully in 2024 we’ll have as many to choose from to replace squish Parson. From wiki; Parson, when asked if he would plan to run for another term in 2024, said “I don’t see that in my future.”

He’s a little too mild mannered for this day and age.

Then there’s the State races and it’s really hard to find info on those candidates. Some don’t even bother setting up a website. There have been a few that I couldn’t even find a picture of or any other info. For local district aka House that’s ok I guess as everyone knows everyone but for Senate, you’re representing a bigger area so word of mouth doesn’t quite cut it.

I like Hartzler personally but was very disappointed with her lack of energy. She had a go-along get-along policy with Boehner and Ryan when they were in charge of the House, and we rarely hear anything out of her wr to Pelosi’s agenda. My theory is that she lacks the warrior spirit to fight the big battles. Tell me if I'm wrong.

I think she is lower energy but she seems to be dependable unlike the turd Blunt. I know she helped out a friend of mine with a dispute he had had for many years with Fedzilla.
I did work for her and her husband 10 years ago and they seemed like genuine salt of the earth types. She always had a good reputation locally.

Yes I also would like to hear how he failed Missouri?

He pissed off the three pillars of progressive commies in Missouri and had no one with deep enough pockets to help defend him.
The prosecutor lied period.
Grietens was left hung out to dry and would have went bankrupt fighting.

He lived to fight another day.
Yes he should have kept his pants on but at some point conservatives have to stop with the circular firings squads. It’s the primary weapon commies have to use against us and it WORKS so long as we let it.

Show me a perfect candidate with no flaws.

I don’t like Greitens, based on how he presented himself in the campaign for nomination and election as governor. I voted for him in the general election, of course, because I never want a Democrat to win. But I don’t like or trust Greitens.
