Cooped up from covid is making me really nostalgic. Here's another: Nestor, the Long-Eared Christmas Donkey, 1977. I probably cried a little during that one, and there are probably a few others I missed.

Maybe its just me, but that was when children's stories, TV and movies really were for kids and about right and wrong, not social programming.

I also remember these claymation cartoons that were on with “Davey & Goliath”. They always had some moral/religious aspect to them at the end. Probably why they are not on TV anymore.

Lastly, the other night my wife and I watched some of the old “Looney Tunes” cartoons from the 1940’s. The ones with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Road Runner, Foghorn Leghorn, Tweety Bird, etc.
Those were all good. Some are really great. One of favorites was “The Rabbit of Seville” a Bugs Bunny version of the famous Opera.
