When the COVID vaccines received their Emergency Use Authorization in December 2020, I was glad my elderly parents could finally emerge from their home quarantine. Many of my same-age friends had been long awaiting their turn to get the jab. Personally, I felt no urgency.
In California, first vaccine priority was given to front-line health care workers (HCW) and nursing home residents — and I observed from the sidelines the rollout process with line-jumping. Walgreens pharmacy staff administered vaccines to staff and residents at nursing homes while hospitals were allocated vaccines to distribute to their HCWs. On the first day of vaccine distribution, Stanford Hospital medical residents protested being left out of the initial allotment of 5,000 doses.
Based on priority, a young internist on active hospital staff became vaccine-eligible in mid-December, an elderly community physician (courtesy staff) in mid-January. A few days later, vaccines were made available to the 75+ general public. Hospital translators and billing personnel who hadn't stepped into the hospital for ten months could get vaccinated prior to the elderly. With vaccine clinic appointments quickly snatched up in wealthy neighborhoods, wealthy residents drove several hours to access shots in other neighborhoods where demand was lower.
Teachers in wealthy Los Gatos line-jumped to get shots at a nearby hospital after providing 3,500 meals for hospital staff. A few weeks later teachers line-jumped the 65+ group by demanding vaccines as another condition prior to returning to the classroom. As the parents revolted against distance learning in January my local school board's promise to reopen in February got pushed back to mid-April to allow each teacher to be fully-vaccinated. In one weekend, vaccine distribution sites gave first priority to any K-12 teacher so any teacher wanting a vaccine could get vaccinated that weekend.

I regret it, too. I have some bizarre bilateral lymphadenopathy that I should have had checked out when I was hospitalized last week. That could mean my immune system is affected (I don’t doubt it), and I already have an auto-immune disorder from childhood, along with a transplant to protect.
Enough people told you not to ...
Important witness because symptoms are described. First shot - To bed, “unable to multitask”, month of Hell, stiff. For some reason got the second shot - 100 fever, husband finds her shivering the next day, tingling starts in her back. She wonders how many are permanently disabled. Undercurrent of article: Media are corrupt coverup artists, servant-shills of Big Pharma.
I think a larger lesson is the loss of faith has resulted in people putting a God-like trust in their fellow beings and institutions. Media, bureaucrats, for some reason doctors are to practically be worshipped. Institutions corrupted by cash. People have forgotten the words of Jesus who said “Be as shrewd as serpents,” and He said of Herod, “Tell that Fox …”
Why anyone got the vaxx after it was proven to be totally worthless amazes me. It’s kinda like communism. Those who bought into the BS now want the misery they have exposed themselves to forced upon those who checked their BS meters before getting jabbed.
Four big, fat paragraphs in, and not a word yet about "regret." Talk about "burying the lede!"

We talkin' 20-year-olds? People in their thirties? Forties? Fifties? Sixties? Sure, the author mentions his "elderly" parents, but when my "same-age friends" and I were in our 20s, I regarded my 50-year-old parents as "elderly."
Would it kill him to be a little more explicit and say, e.g., "my same-age friends (we are all in our early 40s)...?"
Vague statements of age are vague!
Regards,
While I believe this for many, we have to step back and realize a propaganda campaign when we see one.
This one was easy. All the same post, all the exact same phrase. I don't care what side it came from, I will not fall subject to it.
I advocated the vaccines even for my own elderly mother who is doing fine. She is part of the targeted "elderly and vulnerable" candidates for vaccinations. The overwhelming numbers support that this group experienced less mortality than unvaccinated for 19 and 19Delta. Some of the data may be wrong. Not all of it.
That being said, I am not vaccinated for personal reasons. I believe the evidence now supports minor to severe adverse reactions in groups that were not originally the targeted "elderly and vulnerable" candidates for vaccinations.
My own SIL, directly Native American, developed shingles within days of her MRNA vaccination. If you're going to force this shit outside of the recommended demographic, fucking just send blankets next time Pedojoe.
There is no "one size fits all" approach to resolving issues with personal health, only someone like a member of the wretched fraud election-stealing pedojoe sharty-pants bidet posse would believe so.
If you took the vaccine because you were part of the targeted demographic, I support you. If you didn't because of personal reasons, I support you. If you advocate freedom of choice in making this decision and won't support harassment of free thinking people who made a tough choice, you are my ally and I stand with you.
If you are a cynic being overwhelmed with propaganda, hang in there, we will get through this storm, we've been through worse as a nation.
Yikes
So many suckers fell for it. I never did. I knew from the start the whole thing was a scam. It blew me away how eager people were to put something in their body not know anything about what it may do.
I never social distanced, none of us wore masks at work, and the only time I wore my stupid mask was at the VA and yet nothing happen. Even after finding out I was depleted of vitamin D
Get shot in haste; repent in leisure.
Nevermind any second thought
I’m not sorry I’m not blind
It just never crossed my mind
The jab never crossed my mind
IMHO the medical community has been tested by this pandemic, and they’ve shown their ass, and it’s big and ugly. I know I will never trust them ever again.
You must have stopped reading.
While most who survived the jab without disability would probably encourage others to get vaccinated, the coercion tactics, censorship of harms, and outright lies increased my vaccine remorse
Grace and humility. Be constant in your communication and resolution and empathetic— victims of the communist plot— we’ll need some of these folks at the ramparts.
My husband was 81 two years ago when it was first released and he had me sign him up to get his at the health department. I did as he asked but when they called to schedule him, he said to tell them he had changed his mind. While he was waiting, he asked me several times if I was going to get it (I was 65) and I told him no because it was too new.
Now we are both glad we didn’t get it. We have had time to study it and see the damage it is doing. I think a lot of people have regrets but won’t admit it.
It seems like everybody around us that took the shots either has covid, has had it more than once, or has developed other problems. Most of them did it out of fear or threats of losing their jobs. That fear has been pushed by the government, the media, and crooked doctors.
I hope they all end up in jail.

The portion you cites apparently crops up later in the article - as in: AFTER the four paragraphs constituting this excerpt. This is colloquially known as "burying the lede." That's all I said!
Regards,
My sister told me that Mom signed up to get the vax shortly after it came out. She was 87. Two weeks after her first shot she had a small stroke. Even though she was old, she had never had a stroke. She sort of recovered from that and was able to talk so I went to visit. She told me she had a mini-stroke. Next shot; next stroke, but this one was bad. She passed away shortly after that one.
Yes, she was old. She was stroke age. At the same time, she never had one until the vax. Nobody will ever convince me it didn’t cause the stroke.
The unremitting fatigue had finally lifted, so I went to request a booster dose and left with my second jab.
Yeah, whatever, stupid.
Once “Vaxed”, one can never “un-Vax”.
The time to prepare your mind to think properly IS BEFORE the storm or crisis arrives, ELSE the odds are very good you will screw up during the heat of battle and makes poor choices.
If an experienced vaccine maker like Moderna states that 97% of all vaccine attempts fail to get approved due to problems uncovered during long term trials (typically like 5-10 years), who in their right mind would inject something into themselves where the odds are only 1 in 33 that BAD WILL NOT HAPPEN?
When all of your ENEMIES are going nuts trying to push sonething on you and don’t want any dissent, who in their right mind goes along with that?
When those pushing the vaccines lie and lie and lie, who in their right mind would trust anything they say?
