eyeing a similarly swift schedule, even if Breyer does not officially step down until the summer

The Senate would just refrain from sending the president the paperwork on the final confirmation vote until Breyer has retired.

Wait, what??

Has Breyer actually said he is retiring, or is this the MSM/Dem borg trying to pressure and stampede Breyer into stepping down?

Why then are they talking about having confirmed a successor before he retires?

Current term doesn’t end until June, he will stay until then.
It would be unusual for them to confirm before he actually steps down.

NO, Breyer has NOT officially announced his retirement, and word is he is PO’d that they are saying he will do so.

I hope he stays just for spite. He’s small enough to do just that.
