This is a local Fraser Valley Convoy from today for everyone who could not make it to Ottawa in support of the Truckers.
The crowd!!!! WOW! Compared to last Saturday, the turnout today was AMAZING! That means that people are inspired. People are waking up. People are already starting to feel FREE and empowered. Let's not stop now. This is just the beginning. That's right folks, Canadians are PEOPLE and this is no fringe minority by any means.
We have seen this all around the WORLD today!
Huge thanks to each and every person who continues to show up and who continues to share the truth and stand up for our rights and freedoms.
ROLL ON TRUCKERS! FIGHT FOR FREEDOM!

How long before social media starts censoring posts related to protest convoys as “inflammatory” or some such?
Nobody set your trailer brakes!
It’s at least zero degrees.
Oh wait, Canada truckers know this.
(The rear brakes can freeze locking your trailer wheels.
If you let the air out of your truck brakes at this temp
the air lines can freeze too.)
So proud of them.
The cost of this is incredible.
Some companies believe it’s more affordable to put their
driver in a hotel over night rather than idling the truck
for heat or to keep it and product from freezing.
The world is nuts. Did you see the clip from the CBC reporter trying to get a government minister on record that Russia may be behind this as a way of preventing Canada from aiding Ukraine?
Love this fringe minority wonder what a majority would look like 🤣🤣

No snow—nice day for a drive and lots of folks out. The Ottawa folks are dealing with -30. I miss the Pacific Northwest.
To avoid brakes freezing when I was trucking in the northern states, I had wood blocks to use as wheel chocks. Then I would insert 20 gauge sheet metal shims about a foot long and an inch wide in between the shoes and drum, then set the brakes.
I would poke them in about 4” with the last 8” bent out at an angle for a handle end. Set the brakes, plug in the truck (if going to the house), and come back the next day, start up the truck release the brakes and pull the shims. Set the brakes, and remove the wood wheel chocks.
If I needed to use my hammer, it was to knock out a chock(s). But I didn’t have to crawl under the truck for that!

So many tricks.
Ever do the redirected truck exhaust one to unfreeze locked tank valves?
I worked for a small oilfield company where we all shared trucks and trailers and somebody forgot to finish their trip during freezing weather with the turpentine into the empty tanker.

Love Pithy comments. Yours brought me out of the woodwork. [:>)
Never had to do that. My brake shim habit was actually pretty quick to do since I would do it during the post and pre trip inspections.
I remember as a kid watching my dad put a 1/4” of gas in a folgers coffee can, and carefully set it on the ground under the family chevy impala w/327. He put it right under the oil pan, and lit it. When I asked why the gas didn’t go off in a fireball, he said it could only get enough air to burn slowly. After the gas burned up he started the car.
I think I only did that two or three times with an old pickup that was coldblooded. It worked, but is tough on oil pan paint.
Turns out that the trucks, that move everything, and the drivers are more powerful than the threat of using guns. All the truckers need to do is just park their rigs.
As the Good Witch said “You’ve had this power all along”.
Personally I wish the U.S. would do something like this. Our protests get scattered because we tend to do our protesting locally by states. No need to go to D.C. to protest because they don’t listen, but something like stopping deliveries across the country can’t be stopped if everyone rebels at the same time. Shut down government without violence. How about a convoy across America on I-10 and all the major freeways. Be a bit difficult to arrest anyone.
They did ... In 1973. There were mostly independent truckers then now most drivers work for big companies and can’t take a truck out for a 300 mile ride without permission. The popo call that grand theft.
