“Corruption” is nothing new. It happens in high ranking jobs
24/7, 365. At least that is what I have come to believe over the years. I used to have a stellar high opinion of the FBI.

public servants ... take allegations of misconduct very seriously Greet a government fat cat as "Servant, ..." and see how far that gets you. To climb the bureaucratic ladder, it helps immensely to knock off the "servant" hanging on the rung above. How many scandals are really the machinations of Machiavellian ladder climbers?
