Stephanik is from rural upstate New York. Most people in her district are normal people happy with the Constitution. They have no problem owning and using firearms.
They also wish their socialist overlords in Albany (most of whom are from NYC, L.I., and Liberal urban hellholes) had the same respect for the Constitution they have so they wouldn't feel so much like they were living behind the Iron Curtain.
