Yes many may very well reject those strong words no matter how true.

Lately our pastor has been cautioning the congregation about how we administer “Salt and Light” to those we come in contact with.

Too much salt will ruin the food, too much Light can be painful.

IOW a Light touch would probably be best received.

Hmm.
Unless we fall upon the Rock and find ourselves broken, then the Blood of Redemption can make us whole and new.

Sometimes a gentle touch, sometimes a truth and action. The ultimate is the Holy Spirit making the person aware. We are just a voice.

The voice they chose to respond to is critical. Life or death.
