Reminds me of the conversation I had with the son of friend who was immersed in gender dysphoria a year or so ago.

After being assailed with the list of his preferred pronouns, I asked: Do you think people are inherently lazy?

Do you think people focus on obtining the the greatest possible reward from the least possible input of effort?

I told him that since he agreed to both, I’d just continue to identify him by the pronouns most closely identifying with the chromosomes he had at birth.
