Courtroom staff are a team who work together closely day in and day out in a stressful environment. Some frivolity is not necessarily a bad thing if it keeps the team from dreading coming in to work in the morning. Coming into court and dealing with a dysfunctional and unhappy staff is never much fun for the lawyers either, though I suspect that this complaint originates from some pompous attorney who didn’t like it when he found out he was being mocked for his pomposity.

And cops are in a similar working stress situation. If not much more stressful.

Guess what the reaction would be if this kind of thing was discovered in a police precinct. House cleaning and huge media stories wall to wall.

Lawyers and media types are the WORST hypocrites when it comes to fake outrage from others when they pull the same crap in house.
