False. That is HEAD coaches, not total coaches. Based on what I see on the sidelines, most if not all teams have two to five black assistant coaches.

One of 32 head coaches is a little more than 3%, and 4 coaches would equal a little more than 12% of the coaches, roughly equal to the percent of blacks in the country. So all of his outrage is generated by a shortage of THREE coaches.

"But blacks are 71% of the players!!!" It's a different skill set. I can think of only one great player in the modern era - Mike Ditka - who later became an outstanding head coach. Maybe I'm forgetting someone, but there haven't been many.

And how "racist" can a league be when 71% of the players are black and many of them make more money in one year than most whites do in a lifetime?

Coaches are hired because of their qualifications, not their skin color. Thinking back, Doctor King would be disappointed with Biden’s suggestion that they should be hired because of skin color.
