WASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden is hoping to use his upcoming State of the Union address to nudge the pandemic into the nation’s rear-view mirror. But it could turn into yet another disruptive display of national tensions and frustration over trying to move past COVID-19.
The White House has taken extraordinary precautions to keep Biden from getting the virus, including requiring high-quality masks in his vicinity and limiting his travel and participation in large events. A speech to a full House chamber would be by far the densest audience of his presidency to date.

LEA’s around DC are raised up about the possibility of the trucker convoy disrupting the SOTU. So that may affect how the speech looks as well.
It’s a wildcard in a game that is a bunch of low cards of different suits.
I read somewhere that the audience would be limited to 25 people. Don’t recall where. It will either be that or a prerecorded speech. No way Joe can make it through the usual clapping and jeering without turning to mush.
Gas prices are high but could have been higher had I not stepped in and stopped all exploration on fed lands. See, more oil and they would have charged more.
Ukraine, well, it would be in Russian hands had I not waived my fist in front of the the thing that lets us look at each other. Putin seemed terrified, he even gave me a Russian salute with one finger which I think is special.

Economy is doing better than it ever has. We are making so many things and so many people are able to buy things that they bid up prices such that they increase almost 10% over night. Consider the electric cars, why they move about without being attached to electric cords...amazing.
Covid is gone. Take it from me I have the assurance from Dr. Fauci that it is over. We only wear masks now, do jabs, send out test kits so we can be ready for the next wave in case it pops up.
Military, why I just heard from that guy who works in the building over there, that way, that we have the most diverse, equal, woke force on the planet. I wanted the actual numbers but the guy was too busy stamping out the last vestiges of a “Patton like” unit.

The most hilarious thing is by the time he emphatically declares Covid totally over and no longer any kind of threat (because of the polls), some other variant will make its appearance. It will be like his tests and masks arriving weeks after the surge is over. He will always be a day late and a dollar short.
