God wants us to confront evil doers and stop evil doers. Hang millstones around theirs necks and so-forth; and on and on and on......
God wants us to send them to Him: in our power... i.e. kill a pedophile for His Judgement.
Purely my belief..... (as in, I would go Old Testament on their ass)

When my dad was a student in seminary the guys in the dorm conspired to punk a classmate. As soon as the guy went to the shower room, everyone else quickly took off the clothes they were wearing and dropped them wherever they happened to be. Then they hid. I don’t know if their joke worked, but it probably wasn’t the first time it was pulled on someone.
I have to wonder whether the COG (Continuation Of Government) who are directing this crackdown is the Gog of Revelation?
