The first time fascists try anything repressive, there is always some hesitation. But then they get used to it, and they even learn to enjoy it. So I expect to see more of this in the future, both in Canada and in the U.S.

So I expect to see more of this in the future, both in Canada and in the U.S.Won't be surprising to see attacks on police ramp up sharply this spring and summer in response to police tactics. Commies are always ready when fascists need to be shown who are the masters of repression. BLM/antifa sharpening their swords as they watch. It's going to be a long hot summer.
