The White House hinted Tuesday that President Joe Biden is considering another release of oil from the Strategic Oil Reserves, as gas prices continue to rise.
White House Deputy National Security Advisor Daleep Singh said Biden would coordinate with major energy consumers to address higher energy prices, after the president announced a “first tranche” of sanctions against Russia after Vladimir Putin moved into Ukraine.

Won’t even make a dent in the spiraling prices at the pump. Little more than a year ago the US was a net oil exporter and gas prices were at least a dollar a gallon less. With this Ukraine crisis likely to raise oil prices further we could see $5 per gallon gas by the end of the year. Biden has destroyed the US energy sector in one year.

President Trump filled the Reserves to the brim...when prices were low. The reserve is NOT a little pink piggy bank. It’s a war asset.
They don’t understand strategic or reserve. and they hate oil...
When are reporters going to ask how many days supply does the planned release represent? They report this as if it will have some big impact.
The United States consumes an average of about 18 million barrels of petroleum per day. Biden will release 50 million barrels.
He plans to release a 2.8 day supply and even less of an impact he will do it over several months.
A charade.
