SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 26 (Reuters) - SpaceX billionaire Elon Musk said on Saturday that the company's Starlink satellite broadband service is available in Ukraine and SpaceX is sending more terminals to the country, whose internet has been disrupted due to the Russian invasion.
"Starlink service is now active in Ukraine. More terminals en route," Musk tweeted.
He was responding to a tweet by a Ukraine government official who asked Musk to provide the embattled country with Starlink stations.

It is interesting to consider that war will definitely never be the same. It’s been impossible for the Russians to hide anything. Not from our intelligence agencies - but from the media! Satellites for hire with no US shutter control have changed everything. Could they be blinded or shot down? Sure they can...then see what happens.

Probably nothing as our generals won’t be able to find their way to the Situation Room with non-functional GPS’s (nor will farmers be able to plow their fields, for that matter).
One lesson to be learned from this war maybe to take out the enemies cell phone service first thing. The fact that Russia hasn’t says they are not all in on this.
Instapundit Glenn Reynolds teaches at the University of Tennessee. He already has his Starlink service and sounds happy with it.

I just watched a Starlink launch yesterday.
So what gizmo is required to access Starliink? Is the idea that Musk is providing lots of these devices to Ukraine for distribution to the public?
