No way dude - if we had Adam Kinzinger leading the charge, we’d take Moscow in two weeks!!

Is Russophobia justified?

Well for 600 years Russians have invaded, enslaved, and massacred anyone unlucky enough to border them. No other nation has been so relentlessly vicious.

Kind of like the official Russian propaganda, but not as well written.

Washington’s urge to challenge and confront Russia is rationally inexplicable.

So is Moscow's insistence on scapegoating the West for all of its internal problems.

My hunch is that Russia is on the verge of a coup d’etat or a civil war. To say the Ukraine war is unpopular is a gross understatement.

What’s this? Sanity? A deviation from the deep state narrative fully supported by many on FR. I will save the Biden bootlickers on this site some time - this guy must be a “Putinista” like they accuse me of being.

"The termination of oil and gas contracts with all countries which join current or proposed future sanctions against Moscow would be a parallel demonstration of economic power. Last but not least, the Russians may be the ones to indefinitely suspend the Nord Stream 2 pipeline project rather than allow Germany’s aggressive new foreign minister to use it as a political trump card."

I think this fallback plan has fizzled. And I believe China has already said nyet to backing Putin.

Putin is now going to be more desperate than ever. Pray he does not take the entire world down with him.

I think he's been on stage waaay to long and should retire to enjoy what's left of his twilight years. Life is short.

I don’t understand why people can’t see the legitimate Russian concerns here. The Great Patriotic War is still a very large, looming presence in every Russian mind. Take a look at the map. Ukraine provides the same route of attack that Hitler took. There was an equilibrium to the Warsaw Pact/NATO situation. Forces were relatively equal and the threat to either side accepted. Take the forces of East Germany, Hungary, Poland, the Baltic States, Bulgaria and change their side and you’ve destroyed the equilibrium that has prevented WWIII. Once that equilibrium was destroyed, the NATO Alliance started a “domino effect” recruitment of extremely hostile Russian border states. Ukraine would put NATO in the very belly of Russia. There will no Ukrainian government aligned with the West. It would be unconscionable for Putin to allow this to happen. Putin or any Russian strongman to come will fight NATO, if necessary, to keep NATO out of Ukraine. Any unbiased eye can see that.

I don't know why so many people actually believe Putin is the enemy of the New World Order. After all, he is aligned with Cuba, North Korea, and China, and China is the globalists' favorite country right now. Plus what will they do if (G-d forbid!) China invades Taiwan? Beat the drums against their favorite country?

So far in history, Communists have only been social radicals while out of power. Almost every Communist state in history (with only one or two exceptions) were socially conservative and continually attacked western decadence. Out of power they're transgender hippie freaks; in power they're Todor Zhivkov.

Neither Russia, nor any other nation, has any right to invade a nation because they disagree with that nation's foreign policy

It past time this infantile idiocy being circulated by supposed “Conservatives” be immediate dropped. Russia has no moral standing for what it is doing. Russian has no legal standing for what it is doing. Ru

This childish Russiphila where people who should absolutely know better race around the web trying to manufacture rationalization instead of holding Putin accountable is utterly sickening

It 1938 and you morons are siding with Hitler. Stop it you pathetic idiots. Stop channeling your inner Neville Chamberlains.

It fine that you love Russia and Putin.

At least have the basic decdeny to not try to make excuses for the inexcusiable. There is no moral, legal or intellectual justification for Putin’s thuggish actions against Ukraine.

Don’t waste your time trying manufacure some twisted rationailzation to deny that painful reality.

"NATO’s seemingly insatiable urge to expand eastward is the context of the latest crisis over Ukraine"

What prevaricating propaganda is this? NATO exists due to the threat of expansionist Soviet power, which Putin is pushing to regard some glory he lusts for.

1939: World War II begins, and, in accord with a pact between Stalin and Adolf Hitler, Russian invades Poland, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland.

When you must build a wall to keep people in do not be surprised if neighbors guard against you. On August 13, 1961, the Communist government of the German Democratic Republic (GDR, or East Germany) began to build a barbed wire and concrete “Antifascistischer Schutzwall,” or “antifascist bulwark,” between East and West Berlin. Fixed.

"The two can and should be natural allies in a true Northern Alliance"

This Northern Alliance (Canada)?

The Northern Alliance is a far right, white supremacist organization based in London, Ontario, Canada. The group started in 1997, and has been involved in a number of public controversies. The group's leading members include Jason Ouwendyk, Tyler Chilcott, Dave Ruud, and Tomas Szymanski. The number of members in the group is not known. - https://www.liquisearch.com/northern_alliance_canada
