Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis told a group of high school students to take off their face masks and stop engaging in "Covid theater" in a clip that went viral on social media.
"You do not have to wear those masks," the Florida Republican, who has been one of the nation’s most outspoken governors against mask and vaccine mandates, told students at the University of South Florida as he walked up to the podium to speak on Wednesday.
"Please take them off," DeSantis continued. "Honestly, it's not doing anything. We've gotta stop with this Covid theater. So if you wanna wear it, fine, but this is ridiculous."

The whole mask (and shots for that matter) thing was nothing more than an exercise in control and compliance IMO.
If you can get people, especially kids to do those things on demand what CAN’T you get them to do?

These kids are the result of the woke mob teaching the kids....it’s now paying dividends......for them unfortunately.
I graduated high school in ‘78. To graduate we had to at least be exposed to a class called Americanism v/s communism. Didn’t have to pass just take the class.
I suspect the woke mob got rid of that class at some point for obvious reasons.
OBTW my supergovernor DeSantis is bringing it back.
