The Ukraine war pictures Vladimir Putin doesn't want Russians to see – and why

According to a Norwegian International Affairs researcher, the images people in Russia are being shown by the official media are far from the brutal reality of the Ukraine war.

Russian president Vladimir Putin is reportedly painting a completely different picture of his ongoing invasion of neighbouring Ukraine.

For people only consuming Russian media, it comes across as there being an ongoing "special military operation" in Ukraine, which has the aim of protecting the people of East Ukraine against the so-called nationalistic government in Kyiv.

Russian state television aired a short statement by Putin last week, where he described Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky's government as " a band of drug addicts and neo-Nazis," and claimed most of the Russian army's fighting had been with "national groups".

The pictures we in the West see of Ukrainian resistance, civilian casualties and people fleeing their homes and the destruction of buildings and properties are being censored by Russian officials.

You're also unlikely to see any pictures of Russia appearing 'weak', or not in control of the war.

Haven’t seen the pictures, but if they’re like 80% of what the media is reporting, then the reason Putin wouldn’t want Russians seeing them is because they’re FAKE NEWS.

Most people see what they are shown.

Yea, I think that even if Russia didn’t attack the media could make it seem as though he did...quite easily. How many people know about Saudi wars? Hoe a out what is going on I’m Yemen and of more relevance, Donnabass? If the media wants you to “know” then you “know”. Can’t belive that the last two years has taught people nothing.

There has to be a lot of Serbian footage when Clinton dropped bombs they can use.

Pics available via VG (Norway), as linked in the article

Bildene Putin ikke vil at russere skal se

Worth a look as it has some other interesting news articles and videos, but some content may be upsetting for younger viewers.

Fox news has descended into a complete fabrication of what’s happening in Ukraine.

They run b-roll of footage of damaged buildings over and over and repeat a narrative that has zero verification.

They eventually have to report the truth because the facts are hard to deny.

Hannity is the worst....

It has become clear that the risk of inaction exceeds the risk of action against this evil aggression. China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, etc. are watching closely and will feel confident they can expand should the world not stop the aggression here. We have to face reality that these are extremely dangerous times that require cold, analytical thinking, not fearful cowering.

And for those in the West censoring/deplatforming anyone and everything that goes against the narrative being shoved down our throats....

“If they were telling us the truth about Russia they wouldn’t be censoring Russian media.”

“There has to be a lot of Serbian footage when Clinton dropped bombs they can use.”

Good point, I was trying to think of what could come in handy for the media and came up empty, but the former Yugoslavia would be perfect, as their architecture is similar enough to Ukraine. One giveaway, if they’re careless, they’ll leave a mosque in the background...if so, then it’s Bosnia or Kosovo.

I haven’t been following this real close due to my own troubles, but I just can’t see what Putin hopes to gain from this mess.

I'm still trying to recover from the trauma of seeing the Syrian slaughter footage (that had a previous life as a demonstration at a Kentucky gun show).

And you’re unlikely to see Joe Biden appearing weak from lying Leftwing Reuters. Reuters is the Democrat-party media.

All I want to see is dead russians. Where are the bodies?

The biggest prize of all would be putin, dead, dipped in tar and hung from a lamp post.

Don’t forget Kosovo and the constant sad and pitiful donkey carts over and over. That was Billy Jeff’s war and the media was always doing what they could to ramp up the propaganda side in that one too.

Have you noticed FOX always has a theme song for every crisis that comes up. It makes me laugh at their drama.
