Today, I got a request from “Dr.” Jill Biden for contribution to the DNC, to assure the retention of a Democrat majority, regardless of how thin, in both Houses of Congress. I replied, sending in my contribution, using their postage-paid envelope, with two US one-cent coins as my share to support that slim majority. Now, the way I see it, it would cost them nearly a dollar to process that “prepaid” postage, so their solicitation ends up being a drain on the funds they now have. I was considering pasting the prepaid and preaddressed on a brick, but that is a little hard to drop in a streetside pickup box, and the Post Office gets a little sticky about accepting such a package over the counter.
