“Lol…this is not a U turn. It’s a genius move to extract Poland from US pressure to join the war against Russia.”

Quite the opposite. It’s the Biden regime that are the cowards in this fight. The Poles are all in for some revenge against the Russians.

This move is to force the USA to have some cojones and get on board with the anti-Russia coalition.

I assume, if this is true, the remove your fingerprints from the deal works like this. Poland delivers the MIGS to a field in Germany. In exchange we deliver older F15s to Poland to replace them. Germany does not want to be blamed as the base Ukrainians initially flew from to attack Russian MIGs. So, there will be a requirement that the Ukrainians initially land the planes in an airfield in Ukraine. Then, if Russian intelligence has not followed the delivery and taken out the jets to the Ukraine airfield, and that is a big if, the Ukies fly them into the fight. Only problem is the Ukies won’t have these MIGs for long before Russia directs a few missiles at them while they are landed at an airfield. That is why I don’t think this deal will come to fruition.

Actually, this seems to be a delicious slam at Biden and Blinky.

“They reported earlier that the state department had no idea about this.”

I don’t believe Poland had any idea Blinken was going to announce Sunday, that Poland had the “green light” to deliver these planes to Ukraine. This, and VP Harris statement three days before the invasion about wanting Ukraine in NATO shows it is amateur hour in the Biden state department.

Even Breitbart has jumped on the disinformation bandwagon.

Color me surprised.

John Kirby issued a statement recently, in part:

“It is simply not clear to us that there is a substantive rationale for it. We will continue to consult with Poland and our other NATO allies about this issue and the difficult logistical challenges it presents, but we do not believe Poland’s proposal is a tenable one.”

US: Dear Poland,
Thanks, but…no thanks

US will still press Poland to let their territory be used by US war planners
Any NFZ over western Ukraine needs positioning close to the border
I deduce this by US announcement of sending Patriot missiles to Poland to deter attacks on their bases by Iskander and Kaliber missiles from Russia

NATO does not have to defend a member who unilaterally engages in a war tho’ US lawyers will make every argument that Poland is defending itself from aggression by sending aircraft into Ukraine, regardless of who is piloting them
