Alabama’s Katie Britt Surrounds Herself with Never Trumpers, Allies of Anti-Trump former Sen. Bob Corker
BREITBART ^ | 8 Mar 2022 | JOHN BINDER

A long list of establishment Republican “Never Trump” operatives are hosting a fundraiser for Alabama Senate Republican candidate Katie Britt, Breitbart News has learned.

On Wednesday, Britt will hold a fundraiser in Nashville, Tennessee, organized by fundraiser Kim Kaegi who has deep connections to the “Never Trump” wing of the Republican Party.

Previously, for instance, Kaegi worked as a fundraiser for the likes of Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) and former Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN). Corker repeatedly opposed former President Trump’s “America First” agenda and even suggested that a Republican primary him in his 2020 presidential re-election bid.

Both Alexander and Corker attacked Trump’s constitutional travel ban, and each embraced amnesty for illegal aliens while in the Senate.

Bob Corker’s favorite pastime while in the Senate was playing golf with Barack Obama.

Right now I would say that it’s between her, Mo Brooks and newcomer and hero Michael Durant (Blackhawk down)...

And the PAC Alabama Future is attacking Mo Brooks big-time...that’s the PAC funded by Mitch McConnell...And Katie Brooks worked in Shelby’s office and is a swamp insider.

They haven’t attacked Durant yet because they really can’t...and he’s running on his history.

Brooks probably has more name recognition in the state, but so far I’m leaning to Durant. All I know is Britt is right out.

Can’t get any donations in AL so she’s coming up here with her hand out? She needs to keep her hiney south of the state line.

I’m doing everything I can to warn people about Britt. Her husband was a former Alabama Offensive Lineman. She is playing up “Alabama values”. Problem is that she is Shelby’s handpicked successor. She is SWAMP all the way.

Rumor is that Durant is being financed by Britt people to peel off Brooks voters.

Britt needs to be defeated in the worst kind of way. Brooks is the man.

I wouldn't be surprised by that.

Brooks will not vote for McConnell as majority leader and Britt will.

“They haven’t attacked Durant yet because they really can’t...and he’s running on his history.”

Who is the PAC running ads for him? His history is he was shot down in a helicopter and owns a business that as far as I know lives on government contracts. What else do you know about him?

Alabamian here.

ALFA, a big insurance company here, did a poll on Feb 15 2022.

Here are the results:

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/02/15/poll-mo-brooks-keeps-lead-alabama-senate-republican-primary-race/

**********************************************************
Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) is keeping his lead in the Alabama Senate Republican primary race, a new poll finds.

The poll was conducted by the Alabama Farmers Federation (ALFA) political action committee known as FarmPAC which has endorsed Brooks’ primary opponent Katie Britt. Britt is a former lobbyist with the United States Chamber of Commerce’s Business Council of Alabama.

Brooks, according to the poll, commands a lead with 33.7 percent of the vote against Britt’s 28.5 percent. Former U.S. Army Special Operations aviator Mike Durant, backed by political moderates with ties to former President Barack Obama and the Lincoln Project, is running third at 24.4 percent.

About 13 percent of Alabama’s GOP primary voters said they are undecided.

This poll comes after local talk radio host Dale Jackson leaked a poll last week showing Brooks with a lead of 39 percent compared to Durant’s 24 percent and Britt running third with 21 percent.
***********************************************************

Dale Johnson’s poll numbers are far more accurate than ALFAs, in my humble opinion. Mo for the win!

Does Durants race meet the Obama-Biden criteria for success? Sounds he is (yet another) “dilute-the-field-so-the-Rino-gets in on the primary.
